Your First Appointment

Phyllis adores Jenn!

As a new client, you’ll start with a 2 hour consultation with the trainer in your home. This initial consultation allows our trainers to sit down and talk with you about the problems you’re experiencing and your goals for your dog. Once we have that information, we’ll create a customized training plan for your dog to reach those goals. With the time remaining in your appointment we’ll get started coaching you and your dog toward your goals by practicing the first steps you’ll need to take.

You’ll then receive a summary from the consultation within 3 business days detailing your homework and your trainer’s recommendations for going forward. The initial consultation is $249.

Payments are accepted via an electronic invoice. Discounted services may be available to families or animals in extenuating circumstances.

Follow-up Appointments

Follow-up sessions may take place in your home or in public depending on the behaviors needing addressed. These sessions last approximately 60 minutes each and progressively coach you through resolving your concerns with your dog. Each session your dog’s improvement will be assessed and you’ll be given guidance and homework to continue toward your goals. Your trainer will also be available to answer questions between sessions so you don’t have to wait until the next session for guidance. You should expect to invest 10-30 minutes daily working on specific skills with your dog during the training process. Your trainer will be able to estimate the number of sessions needed to reach your goals during your initial consultation — 4-8 sessions is the most common recommendation.

For in-home or in-public appointments, follow-up appointments are $180 when purchased individually or $720 when purchased as a package. Package includes 4 in-person sessions and 2 Zoom check-in sessions. This pricing includes travel costs (inside service radius) and reflects the time and expertise of multiple staff members when needed for your appointment.

For appointments taking place at Elon Oaks Veterinary Hospital, follow-up appointments are $90 when purchased individually or $360 when purchased as a package. Package includes 4 in-hospital sessions and 2 Zoom check-in sessions.
